Jess is a documentary wedding photographer based in the Midwest of the United States. Mainly using analog film formats, she documents with a focus on color and emotion.
So much happens at a wedding — laughter, tears, hugs, quiet moments, loud dance floors — and she aims to approach preserving those memories in a documentary way, showcasing the wedding story as it happened, with a flair of creative editorial perspective.
Jess believes that weddings shouldn’t be about the photography, but for photography to be about weddings.
In her downtime, Jess is either guzzling espresso double shots, snuggling her 2 crusty senior dogs, excessively binging television (probably X-Files or Gilmore Girls), staring at her houseplants, or admiring her husband's art studio.
